In times of crisis, both new and established leaders are tested with the complex challenges of navigating under uncertainty. And regardless of your experience, leadership is a quality you must continue to refine to be successful. In this session, learn the requirements to remain effective in turbulent times.
Join us to strengthen your leadership skills with perspectives from experts led by The Institute for Medical Leadership President, Dr. Susan Reynolds, and GI physician leaders Drs. Barbara Jung and Hashem El-Serag, who will host a “fireside chat” on the importance of shifting your leadership style during a crisis and address the challenges of adapting to a new role.
Drawing from "Primal Leadership" by Daniel Goleman, PhD, you will dive into identifying your natural leadership style and uncover which types are the most and least effective when a crisis occurs. You'll also take away strategies on how to motivate others and facilitate teamwork effectively.
AGA FORWARD scholar Dr. Patricia Jones will moderate the presentation.
