Now in its twelfth year and first as an all-virtual event, the 2021 AGA Tech Summit is the only event that focuses on GI technologies and fosters their development and adoption. GI innovators, entrepreneurs, clinicians, MedTech companies, venture capitalists and regulatory agencies meet to pave a path forward for GI patients and practices. Its objective is to disseminate information and provide guidance on the current and future direction of GI innovation and technology. Learn more at https://gastro.org/agatech.

Innovator Consultations
The Innovator Consultations sessions enables participants to meet one-on-one with representatives from the investor, regulatory, MedTech and physician innovator communities.
AGA Innovation Fellows Program
The AGA Innovation Fellows Program is a unique opportunity at the AGA Tech Summit for fellows to learn about the GI innovation lifecycle from thought leaders in the field. Selected fellows will learn the steps needed to hone their entrepreneurial skills and become future GI physician innovators. The program will wrap up with a mini-hackathon. This program is sponsored by Medtronic and is open to third, fourth and advanced endoscopy fellows. The program will be on Thursday, April 29th from 1 – 4 p.m. EST.
AGA Shark Tank Pitch Competition
The annual AGA Shark Tank provides a platform for selected applicants to present their ideas to a panel of expert judges as well as the general attendees. The winner has their technology or innovation promoted in AGA’s GI & Hep News and a free invitation to the 2022 AGA Tech Summit. This year AGA will also invite all applicants including those not selected for the Pitch Competition to participate in a one-day Innovation Poster Showcase.
