Eosinophilic GI Diseases Beyond the Esophagus
Where Have We Been and Where Are We Going?
TUESDAY, AUGUST 11, 2020 | 7:00 PM EDT
    LIVE Virtual Symposium

Participants can access this live virtual event on Tuesday, August 11, from 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM EDT.

    Activity Overview

Eosinophilic gastrointestinal diseases (EGIDs) are serious, chronic, inflammatory digestive disorders that affect both children and adults. Lengthy diagnostic delays are common in EGIDs and they often result in disease progression and missed treatment opportunities. In this virtual, interactive CME event, 3 experts will discuss the epidemiology, pathophysiology, clinical presentation, and diagnosis of EGIDs. They will also review pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic treatments for EGIDs, including emerging therapies that target specific inflammatory cytokines and cells implicated in EGID pathogenesis and progression.
