Overview
This year’s Gut Microbiota for Health World Summit (GMFH) focuses on diet and other ways to manipulate the gut microbiome in clinical practice. This scientific program features plenary lectures, workshops, and interactive discussions that focus on:
- The impact of diet, probiotics, prebiotics, and postbiotics on shaping the microbiome, including the role of ultra-processed foods, fibers, dietary exclusions, and plant-based diets.
- New insights into the links between diet, gut microbiota, and cardiometabolic health.
- Practical workshops addressing dietary approaches in IBD, IBS, liver diseases, and cancer.
- Advances in microbiome-derived treatments, from live biotherapeutic products and dietary interventions to fecal microbiota transplantation in IBD, IBS, and cancer.
- The evolving role of the microbiome in cancer therapy, including strategies to enhance immunotherapy responses.
