APP Intensive Gastroenterology

APP Intensive: Gastroenterology is a free, virtual, CE/CME‑accredited program designed specifically for nurse practitioners and physician assistants practicing in gastroenterology. Taking place Saturday, June 6, from 10 a.m.–3:20 p.m. ET, this one‑day program delivers practical, case‑based education on high‑impact topics in IBD care. Through expert‑led sessions, participants will strengthen skills in obesity management in IBD, review emerging and established pharmacologic options, and apply treat‑to‑target strategies to optimize Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis outcomes—integrating clinical trial data, real‑world evidence, and current guidelines into patient‑centered decision‑making.
The program includes interactive case discussions and one non‑CE educational segment and is provided by Decera Clinical, offering APPs the opportunity to earn CE/CME credit while gaining immediately applicable insights for daily practice.

Physician Assistants/Physician Associates: 4 AAPA Category 1 CME credits™
Nurse Practitioners/Nurses: 4 Nursing contact hours, including 4 hours of pharmacotherapy credit
