Overview
Becoming an effective advocate is more than just communicating with legislators. Today's GIs must learn how to establish and maintain relationships, clearly discuss patient and provider issues, and become engaging storytellers in order to educate lawmakers and affect change in our community.
Anyone can learn to become an effective advocate for themselves, their patients and our profession with this online training module. Through the use of interactive games, quizzes and videos you'll learn what effective advocacy looks like, have a deeper understanding of the importance of physician involvement in local advocacy and gain best practices in the art of persuasion.
After completing this module, you'll have the tools you need to discuss AGA advocacy priorities and the confidence to volunteer for our policy campaigns.
