Part 1: Expert panel lecture

Experience the best of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) advances presented at Digestive Disease Week® (DDW) 2026. Expert panelists will highlight cutting-edge developments in intestinal ultrasound and real-time disease monitoring, emerging innovations in digital health and EMR-integrated care, and critical insights into IBD management in underrepresented populations, including older adults.

Following the session, learners will be able to:

  • Summarize key practice-changing IBD advances from DDW 2026, including innovations in intestinal ultrasound, digital health integration, and emerging therapeutic insights.
  • Apply novel tools and technologies to clinical care, with a focus on real-time disease monitoring, EMR-enabled decision-making, and improving patient outcomes.
  • Recognize gaps in evidence and tailor management strategies for underrepresented populations, including older adults and other groups historically excluded from clinical trials.

Part 2: Product Theater sponsored by Pfizer

This session, presented by Dr. Ilan Aharoni, will focus on the efficacy and safety data of Velsipity and outline criteria for identifying suitable patients.
