This education program aims to support clinicians in their adoption of new screening guidance for colorectal cancer by introducing and reinforcing the following key learning concepts:
- U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) guidelines
- Management/education of the 45–49-year-old cohort for whom screening is now recommended
- Identification of high-risk populations in primary care setting
- Considerations for individuals at high-risk for poor outcomes due to social determinants of health
- Organized screening programs to eliminate barriers
