The American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) and the European Society of Neurogastroenterology and Motility (ESNM) are organizing the twelfth edition of the Gut Microbiota for Health (GMFH) World Summit in Washington, D.C. (USA).
The GMFH World Summit explores manipulations of human gut microbiome in health and disease. The 2024 GMFH will focus on translating microbiome science to clinical practice: Crossing the threshold from lab to life. The Summit will also examine regulatory and legal issues unique to microbiome therapeutics. The program was developed by a committee of leading experts, led by co-chairs Gail Hecht, MD, MS, AGAF (Loyola University Medical Center, Chicago, Illinois, U.S.) and Harry Sokol, MD, PhD (Sorbonne Université, Paris, France). The agenda includes two keynote lectures, four plenary sessions, and two workshop sessions.
The summit is sponsored by the ESNM and the AGA, with the endorsement of the American Neurogastroenterology and Motility Society (ANMS).
