The Medical Education Scholarship and Journal Club is a quarterly meeting offered by the AGA Academy of Educators. The purpose of the group is to grow the breadth and depth of gastroenterology and hepatology education research by promoting professional development and collaboration through a community of practice for current and future GI and hepatology education scholars.
The summer meeting will focus on best practices for teaching higher cognitive skills in fellowship plus a look at medical curricula options to improve exposure to hepatology at the medical student level considering the impending workforce shortage in this specialty.
