Part I: Detecting MASH in Primary Care: Tools for Timely Diagnosis and Management — 30 minutes

This text-based activity with 3D animation provides learners with foundational information about MASH. In addition to supporting patient care with primary knowledge, the faculty will provide their perspectives on the best practices for the standard of care.


Part II: Recognizing a “Silent” Disease podcast — 30 minutes

Listen as experts discuss challenges in MASLD/MASH diagnosis, including risk stratification of patients, and implications for diagnostic delays. Additionally, they’ll share strategies for incorporating noninvasive methods such as the FIB-4 score, NFS, APRI, and secondary assessments. Finally, the experts will emphasize the vital role PCPs play in MASH detection and management.


Part III: How to Treat and When to Refer podcast — 30 minutes

In this episode, experts will review current treatment guidelines and care pathways for MASH. They’ll discuss the role of PCPs in the multidisciplinary management of patients with MASH, including the referral of high-risk patients to specialists. Finally, they’ll share the management of underlying metabolic conditions, such as T2DM and obesity, in patients with MASH who are at low risk of fibrosis.
