Course Title:  Managing Inflammatory Bowel Disease: A Simulated Clinical Encounter

Overview

Test your ability to select treatments for patients with ulcerative colitis (UC) and Crohn's disease (CD) in this clinic simulation. This activity is intended for gastroenterologists who manage patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). The goal of this activity is for clinicians to be better able to individualize evidence-based treatment strategies for patients with IBD.

Learning objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  1. Assess response to current IBD treatment plans
  2. Select appropriate evidence-based IBD therapies in biologic-experienced patients
  3. Tailor IBD treatments based on risk/benefit profiles for individual patients with IBD
